  • Program Introduction
  • How long until we will see results? YOU WILL SEE IMMEDIATE RESULTS.
There are 2 parts to our program: Part 1 RELIEF: We show you how to stop all the pesky behavior (nipping, jumping, crate issues, potty training, chewing). This happens as we build and channel drives while we get your management game running tight. Part 2 RESULTS: After we get your house and daily life in order we quickly focus on getting your puppy to relax and respond around distractions.
  • What will we train?
Our training approach looks to keep utility in the front of our mind at all times. We do not believe that training for the sake of training makes sense. All of our handling skills and management principles will tie back to your personal concerns and goals. Nipping, jumping, chewing, crate training, potty training, loose leash walking, recall, place, separation anxiety, barking, behavior modification and obedience to name just a few. Whatever goal or issue you have we would love to personalize our systematic approach to provide you with the relief and results you are looking to achieve. What is different with this program? Most other puppy classes are intro level classes. We pride ourselves on having a program that starts with the end in mind. Having the training work when you need it matters. Many other puppy intro classes seem to go through the motion, doing training for the sake of training. This is the only program you will ever need to sign your puppy up for. Owners that dedicate themselves to successfully completing our program will have: a responsive dog around distractions a relaxed more relaxed disposition a completely different life trajectory
  • What methods do you use and what's the Champion Puppy Training Difference?
We use motivational, management and handling techniques that put you and your puppy’s relationship at the forefront of our approach. We put your puppy’s play, food and chewing drive on a nice clean schedule. We refer to this schedule as the Champion’s Daily Regimen. We find that once we do this most behavioral issues typically work themselves out or at the very least are so much easier to address directly during the behavior modification portion of our program.
  • When, where and how long do we meet?
To keep our advice as specific as possible the first session is held at your place. The first session is 1.5 hours long. Sessions 2-6 will take place at 1155 Route 73, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054. Each of these sessions are 1 hour in length. At the end of every session we will schedule the next session. If we feel like a check-in call is warranted we will schedule a time to speak in between our sessions.
  • What if I need help between our appointments?
You are not “bugging us” if you reach out to us in between appointments. We’d be “bugged” if you didn't reach out to us and you needed our help. We do not want you to wait a whole week to get the help that you need. With the help of the online course and our between session support you should have exponential growth in-between our 1:1 appointments. The best way to reach out to us is by texting us at 1-877-552-4267.
  • What if I need help after our active time together?
We guarantee our work. Whether it is 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years from now if you are having a problem please let us know when it is a little problem, before things worsen. We will be just as happy to help you as we were to sign you up initially.
  • What are the other costs associated with training?
We do utilize a handful of training tools that are essential in our approach. The good news is our prices are the same or less than Amazon, PetSmart or Chewy and you receive 10% of your product purchase total back in “Champ’s Bucks” for future purchases. Check out our essentials package here.
  • I have just one or two issues, do I need the whole course?
Yes. We transform dogs, not focus on just stopping “symptoms.” For example if your dog barks all the time we don’t just want your dog to still be anxious, not understand the world it lives in and still be on a hair trigger all wound up. We want your dog to be a way better, more relaxed version of itself and in doing so you both get way more benefits above and behind the behavior or “command” you are looking to train. Typically people and trainers who are “symptom focused” spend more time attacking the symptom versus serving the dog. With that said, we ask for all of our clients to submit to us a goals/issues form at the start of our training. We pride ourselves on getting your primary goals and issues addressed quickly and thoroughly.
  • What is the sign up process
  • Do you offer a board and train program?
Yes we do. Our Board and Train Program immerses your puppy in social settings and stimuli in a controlled way. Our professional trainers have a high level of consistency and handling skills and spending time with them each day will give you higher level of relief and results faster.
  • What areas do you serve?
Currently we serve predominantly South Jersey (Camden and Burlington County). As we expand we will offer new service areas.
  • Do you Guarantee Your Results?
  • Do you train 1:1 or in Group?
  • Is it Worth It?
  • Can/should everyone be there?
We do encourage all members of the household who have an interest in training to attend. If you have a big family it is better to get as many people as possible to attend versus putting off training hoping to get everyone. If you have little ones and have access to child care it does allow us to have more quality focused time.
  • What if I need to reschedule my training appointment?
If you reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time you will be ineligible for your $50 Champ’s Bucks attendance reward (1st reschedule within 24hr of appointment). If you reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time for a 2nd time that will count toward one of your six appointments. If you no-call/no-show you will be ineligible for your $50 Champ’s Bucks attendance reward, plus that will count toward one of your six appointments.
  • What if I’m running late?
If you are running late we still will need to end at the original set time as our trainers run back to back all day.
  • Do you help with Aggression?
No, but we can ensure puppy nipping doesn’t turn into biting. When in doubt submit your information and if our program doesn’t match well with your dog’s needs we can certainly refer you to a colleague.
  • My dog isn’t a puppy anymore, can you still help?
Yes, our program works best when building a dog from the ground up, but we do teach old dogs new tricks!!
  • Do you offer other courses after this one?
No, our Champion Puppy Training Basics Program is EXTREMELY THOROUGH. We do offer a board and train program. We require all board and train clients to go through our 1:1 program. You can sign up for this package and if you decide to have “do the heavy lifting” for you we will deduct your initial training investment from the board and train cost. For more information about our board and train program click here.
  • Are you vet recommended?
Heck yeah! Ask your vet and you’ll see. Click here to see what one of our local vet partners has to say about us.
  • What additional resources do you have? Do you have resources for kids?
We refer to kids as “Jr. Puppy Trainers” and heck yeah! We have a kids book and our trainers will have a “Jr. Puppy Trainer’s Checklist” that is personalized with your puppy’s name on it for the kiddos at the first session. The Jr Puppy Trainers resources are best suited for kids 3-11. Click here for more details.
  • What about socialization?
We build socialization into our course curriculum in a very specific way. We do not believe in “sloppy socialization” where your puppy gets haphazardly introduced to different stimuli. Not only that, we also offer doggie daycare, boarding and grooming. That way your trainer can help ensure success on those fronts as well.
